GD & PI and Details

The following details are regarding the GD and PI processes that are carried out:

GD Processes:

Judging Panel consists of 4 students:
HR - 2
Marketing - 1
Finance - 1

There are 2 topics which will be given to carry out a discussion on, out of which 1 will be selected on the basis of majority.

GD Duration: 12 min discussion and 3 minutes to sum up the disussion.

Evaluating parameters: Clarity of thoughts, Communication skills, Originality of ideas, Leadership quality, Participation.

PI Processes:

Interviewing Panel consists of 4 students:
The interviewers are divided in two sections: 2 interviewers and 2 observers.

1st interviwer will be from HR,
2nd interviewer will be from the specialization you belong to.
1 st observer will be from HR.
2 nd observer will be from either marketing or finance (i.e. the observer will be from finance if you belong to the finance specialization or else the observer will be from marketing if you belong to the marketing specialization.)

I just gave my GD today and it was a wonderful insight into mine as well as others capabilities. We got our hands on exposure to a formal GD after a very long interval. I benefitted a lot out of it- Ashwathi.

I have given my GD and PI and it was a wonderful experience,
It has helped me to know where weak points are and accordingly i can work on it .....

I really feel proud for the way the efforts have been taken by the entire placement committee.The way GDPI activity is conducted is very professional and working as a demonstration before facing the real ones very soon.
I would just like to say that, now we being students of AIMS and ASB should give our wholehearted support for phenomenal efforts of these guys.

It was really a nice experience....i found that i was actually with some great people around me...after this mock session...i was able 2 find out my shortcomming...At last i should say...let's rock with atharva placement cell's efforts - Anand

I was circumspect about the whole idea of GDPI without a faculty but I must say the entire MMS & PG has combined itself like a TEAM and has put up an excellent show so far..It is also great to see the positive response of the students to this event and why not ? GP PI conducted is AS REAL AS IT GETS..Lets keep the good work going - Siddharth Athavale

yes, I too was against the idea of conducting GDPI without a faculty. but i need to say that the effots taken by these students are really apreciable. I got really the best exposure which i was not expecting earlier.

I whole hearteadly want to thank all the students who are doing these efforts. All the Best

i gave m gd/pi as well.i was a bit skeptical with whole idea of students judging us,but later i realised tht everyone was really professional abt it and tht was really great.for the first time im seeing PG and MMS working together as a team and its been fantastic so far.the atmosphere has been really positive!keep up the good work ppl!
